From June to September 2022, our
High World Luxury Apartments in Oberlech are open - escape the city heat and enjoy tranquil days in luxury and privacy, in the middle of the beautiful Oberlech Summer Mountain World.
In December 2022, we will open for the next winter season - with lots of great news: over the summer, we are building a new
Vitaltempel-Spa, spanning three floors, with saunas, steam bath, relax areas, fireplace, massage, and much more; a
25m long outdoor swimming pool including a swim-out area; and a new
fitness/yoga area. Check back over the summer for news and pictures - we are looking forward to your visit.
For almost 100 years, people have been skiing in Lech, even before it was first accessible to tourism. Here is where the ski lift was invented, the snowboard was made popular and, over the years, one of the world's most extensive and beautiful skiing areas developed.
Today, Lech is a member of "Best of the Alps", an association representing only the best winter sport resorts in the world. With over 200km of manicured slopes, 180km high alpine deep snow ski runs, a 14km long cross country skiing circuit into the Zugertal and over 80 lifts, it is Austria's largest skiing resort and among the top 5 largest resorts world-wide.
Oberlech is 100% car-free. Ski-Out and Ski-In to the door,
no roads, cars, noise, pollution or danger.
Oberlech, the most exclusive part of the village Lech, has been
completely car-free in winter since the early 1970ies. First, snow cats were used for transportation of luggage and goods. Starting from 1995, an
underground service tunnel system connecting all houses, the cable car and an underground road access tunnel was being built and completed around 2000. This means:
absolute tranquility for you, the luxury to ski or snowboard far removed from any road traffic, and not having to worry about kids around the house so much.
By the way: you arrive in Oberlech by
cable car - but, we take care of your luggage, you will only have to enjoy the stunning scenery :-)

as far away as 40km on skis, e.g. Schröcken/Hochtannberg, St. Anton and the Albona/Sonnenkopf resorts - all of this is included in your Arlberg Card, which can be purchased right with us in-house.
